Of Spanish-English origin (although her maternal grand mother was Serbo-Croatian and her paternal grand mother Swiss), Ms Sharon Alsina was born May 17 sometimes ago in  Tombstone, Arizona but moved with her parents at the age of nine to an unexplored region located north-east end of  Los Angeles, reportedly in a house that once would have belonged  to the Smith Brothers (John et Murdoch).

Actress (both comedy and tragedy), diseuse, singer (contralto to mezzo) and part-time tap-dancer, she has appeared as Caliban in «The tempest», Calphurnia in «Julius Cesar», Hyppolyta in «A Midsummer Night's Dream», Junie in «Crasibule et Pharice», Tamora in «Titonius Adronicus», as well as sung opposite Placindo Domingo (L.A. Opera) and  assumed several roles in numerous  films :  «Sugar», «My Magic Dog», «B-Movie», «Cause and Effect», «Comments on the Script» and «Queerwolf» (for which was awarded the Marshall - best performance by an actress (meilleure interprétation féminine) in 1988 at the Festival de Cinéma de Napierville).

Between radio and television jobs as an announcer, she has been part of the cast of «General Hospital», «Madison Heights», «Unsolved Mysteries» et «The American Experience» (Woodrow Wilson), etc.

Her hobbies include palm reading, the close examination of alleged photos of UFO's, skating, the recycling of lipstick tubes and she has been known to count workers in an out of large factories for hours.

She is the official correspondent for la Gazette de Saint-Romuald-d'Etchemin et d'Esch-sur-Sûr, a newspaper published essentially in French, for the Alhambra-Fullerton-Pomona sectors of Greater Los Angeles, Hollywood, Long Beach, Santa Ana, the Island of Catalina et certain sections of Santa Fe Springs.

On June 14, 2000, she has been asked to become the official recruiter for those interested in Industrial Poetry recruiter of the Université de Napierville in her region.

Known for her sense of humour, Ms Alsina will no doubt bring a fantasy touch to a site (ours) otherwise known for its seriousness.

Quotes :

«I believe in UFOs.  In fact, I believe being abducted by one is pretty much my only hope for romance at this point.»

«I suppose the reason I have had such a tepid career is people are always telling me I look like someone they know.  Unfortunately, apparently it is people they hate

«I tell you this award [The Marshall] means more to me than any mere Oscar could... after all, any son of a famous person can win an Oscar.  But it takes true talent to survive banality and make it to the lower middle!»

«I'm 5 feet six and have green eyes.»
